Policy Advancement - Based in our Nation’s Capital, we activate allies in the U.S. Departments of Interior and Agriculture and in the halls of Congress to fulfill their respective missions in tandem.

National Mammal Campaign
Project for the Wildlife Conservation Society, InterTribal Buffalo Council, and National Bison Association
Eco Mare Terra helped build a coalition of 110 organizational members, doubling it in size within one year toward championing passage of the National Bison Legacy Act.

National Bison Legacy Act Commemorative Reception (2016)
On contract with WCS, Eco Mare Terra cultivated agency heads in the Departments of Interior and Agriculture to participate in a forum and VIP reception featuring tribal council leaders, Members of Congress, and American Bison Coalition members to launch recognition of the bison as our U.S. National Mammal.
The National Bison Legacy Act commemorative event hosted speakers including Tribal leaders, Members of Congress, and the Secretary of the Department of Interior.
Projects for the National Forest Foundation
Carson National Forest, Red River Roads Collaborative Stewardship Workshops
These 6 facilitated workshops resulted in a community stewardship collaborative of off-road recreationists that voluntarily maintain National Forest roads and prevent sedimentation of New Mexico’s Red River.
