Workshops & Forums - We deliver knowledge exchange, technical training, model collaboratives, and new stewardship using Eco Mare Terra’s unique design and professional facilitation talents.

Coalitions - We structure and manage complex groups to resource conservation, uncover an intersection of values, and inspire, mobilize and equip stakeholders at the grasstops and grassroots.

Policy Advancement - Based in our Nation’s Capital, we activate allies in the U.S. Departments of Interior and Agriculture and in the halls of Congress to fulfill their respective missions in tandem.

Eco Mare Terra helped build a coalition of 110 organizational members, doubling it in size within one year toward championing passage of the National Bison Legacy Act.

Film Screen and VIP Event

Eco Mare Terra was hired by the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes (CKST) to organize a forum featuring the Tribal Council and dialogue with Members of Congress and Administration officials about the National Bison Range.

Film Screening and VIP Event

Project on contract with The Wilderness Society

Eco Mare Terra worked closely with the Blackfeet Nation to organize a forum featuring Tribal Council members and a VIP reception designed to engage Members of Congress and Forest Service leaders in dialogue about protection of the sacred Badger-Two Medicine area in Montana.

 

American Bison Coalition

National Bison Legacy Act Commemorative Reception (2016)

On contract with WCS, Eco Mare Terra cultivated agency heads in the Departments of Interior and Agriculture to participate in a forum and VIP reception featuring tribal council leaders, Members of Congress, and American Bison Coalition members to launch recognition of the bison as our U.S. National Mammal.

U.S. Forest Service, Carson National Forest Plan Revision Workshop Series

Eco Mare Terra designed and facilitated a workshop series with USFS to amplify understanding and acceptance of revisions to the Forest Plan in four culturally-distinct forest communities and produced a guidance tool.

Roundtables

Carson National Forest, Red River Roads Collaborative Stewardship Workshops

These 6 facilitated workshops resulted in a community stewardship collaborative of off-road recreationists that voluntarily maintain National Forest roads and prevent sedimentation of New Mexico’s Red River.
